Japan has a deep volleyball culture built on athletes, coaches, clubs, universities and communities. Yet valuable experiences, relationships and opportunities can easily be lost as people move from one stage to the next.
WHIZZ U was founded to make better use of those resources — creating opportunities, developing people and carrying knowledge and relationships forward.
What began with professional athlete representation is growing into a broader approach to volleyball: supporting careers today while helping shape the ecosystem of tomorrow.

Founder
I just want to leave something for what comes next.
Through my career in the sports business, I had the opportunity to reach the work I had once dreamed of and to be involved in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
Along the way, volleyball gave me far more than a career. It allowed me to experience different cultures, meet people from around the world, learn from many different perspectives, and eventually create opportunities to support the next generation.
That is why I now want to use the experience I have gained, together with the perspective I developed through working in an international environment, to create something for the next generation and for the future of volleyball.
That is where WHIZZ U begins.
